about me.

We teach best what we most need to learn

I was the queen of masking - looking so connected, so in my body. I thrived in sports, excelled in personal training and bodywork. From the outside, I appeared to embody everything I now teach about mind-body connection. But the truth was, I was living entirely in my head, using my body merely as a vessel for athleticism and exercise. There was no real connection to the emotional landscape within me.

Tammy’s story

Disconnection became my downfall. I burned out repeatedly in my work, extending endless compassion to everyone but myself. The combination of people-pleasing, low self-worth, and being completely severed from my whole self created a ticking time bomb. When immense grief struck - losing my mum to cancer and my grandmother soon after when I turned 30 - I fell deeper into this toxic spiral. The mask became even more solidified, the disconnection more profound.

Then the pandemic arrived. For all its devastation, it gifted me something unexpected: a three-month pause on life that opened up space for deep introspection and realisation. I began to nourish my body, train as an act of love rather than performance, walk for no reason but to be in nature, and spend time intentionally alone. I embarked on my psychology masters, pursued additional training in trauma informed coaching, and eventually found the courage with a somatic psychotherapist who I felt safe with to do the deep work.

That's when the healing truly began. This therapist, along with deep dive retreats and conscious connected breathwork, led me home to myself - to my body, to my wisdom. I'm still on that journey and always will be. That's what makes this life so interesting, and it's exactly why I'm so passionate about guiding others on their own path back to themselves.

The story of ORIGIN

I called my coaching programme 'Origin' because I believe we are all on a journey of returning to who we truly are. We aren't broken. We have simply adapted to survive our experiences, developing patterns and masks that once served us but may now be holding us back. Deep down, we all carry a desire to return to the version of ourselves we once were - our origin.

The work I do isn't about fixing you or adding something new. It's about peeling back the layers of adaptation that no longer serve you, revealing the wisdom and wholeness that has always been there. My unique approach blends somatics, psychology, neuroscience, physiology, nervous system work, breathwork, bodywork, and movement - because true transformation happens when we address the whole person, not just the mind or just the body.

My extensive training across these disciplines - from my psychology masters to trauma-informed practices, from somatic therapy to bodywork - allows me to weave together all the pieces of your human experience. I understand both the science of why we disconnect and the deeply felt experience of finding our way back home to ourselves.

This integrated approach recognises that your body holds your story, your nervous system remembers your experiences, and your breath is the bridge between your conscious and unconscious worlds. Through Origin, we work with all of these elements to gently release the patterns of adaptation that once protected you but now limit your capacity for joy, connection, and authentic self-expression.

The journey back to your origin isn't about becoming someone new – it's about remembering who you've always been beneath the masks and adaptations.

“Uncertainty carries wisdom.

Presence holds power.

Letting go makes room for love.”
