Restorative Bodywork Ritual

What to Expect

Restorative bodywork is an informed, intuitive practice that weaves traditional massage therapies with an understanding of nervous system patterns. The intention is simply to meet the body where it is, inviting it to surrender, to release, or to rest more deeply. Whatever it seems to need.

There will be moments where fascia feels stretched and tissues feel worked. Oscillation, pressure holds, something slower and more still. It all depends how your body arrives.

As a qualified somatic therapist and sports therapist with 11 years of working with the body, I bring a blended approach drawing from a broad spectrum of myofascial trainings and body psychotherapy practices. Each session is held with essential oils, seasonal botanicals and the quality of ceremony. A space where the body is truly tended.

❋ step one: follow my mailing list

I will be updating the days I am available for booking and sending it out to anyone who has registered interest

❋ step two: arriving at Mill Yard

Mill Yard is a beautiful location set in nature just outside Petworth. You can find out more about the location here:

https://millyardpetworth.co.uk

❋ step three: what happens

We will have spoke briefly about what brought you to wanting the work on your booking form. Before we begin treatment we speak briefly about what you are arriving feeling in your body. I will then give you space to get comfortable before we begin the treatment.

❋step four: after the session

I will leave space for you to move slowly after the session. With some space for integration and reflection if it feels good for you, we don’t have to talk at all. Palo Santo will be burning, there will be water and organic dark chocolate to ground and bring you back fully into the present moment.
